I live in PA and thought that Santorum did what was right, even though I can’t STAND Spector. Now Spector’s gone (by his own ego and arrogance), Toomey is in and Santorum didn’t have to stab a fellow Republican in the back for it to happen. I’d like to see Santorum (if he doesn’t become POTUS or VP first) defeat Bob Casey and get him out of the Senate, a place where he never belonged. Santorum also did a wonderful job filling in for Bill Bennett on Friday morning radio shows.
You’re right, twigs. The net result of Santorum’s decision was good, and Santorum, himself, is a strong conservative, who shouldn’t leave the fight.
