Yea, that was how I remember him too, back then. But, apparently, he started slipping into liberal-land, even back then. I agree with others, Perry does have some explaining to do here...being that he chaired Gore’s 1988 Texas campaign.
Yep. Al Gore was conservative until he had to change his politics to run with the then seen Conservative “The era of big government is ober” Bill Clinton. Also a so called conservative Democrat. Ole Bill never did push any State gun control on Arkansas but boy oh boy he played the politics of the left and become the most anti-2nd amendment President EVER.
