Masonry fell on cars in Tysons Corner. WMAL is reporting people with minor injuries; damage to one or more embassies; and a possible tilt to the Washington Monument. It was bizarre; I was in an office near the Manassas Battlefield and it shook for about 30 seconds. I’d never been in an earthquake before. It was odd that the shaking seemed to be coming from above us, not from below.

That's exactly what my sister in Alexandria said. She thought the ceiling of her office was going to cave in.

That had to be freaky...glad you're OK.
