Hmmmmm...underground nuke? Does washington even have a fault zone?
Epicenter was west of Richmond. There are numerous old, not very active, faults in the Shenandoah Valley, the Blue Ridge and piedmont.
We actually live just inside the outer rim of a gigantic meteor crater.
This thing is one of the bigger ones and defines an area called The Fall Line.
Huge chunks of the Earth were turned on end revealing banded iron formations, and veins of gold.
This area is also on top of some very stretched continental mass so it's real thin between us and the magma ~
What that means is we can have big earthquakes.
Of course it does, silly! It's Bush's Fault!!!
“Does washington even have a fault zone?”
