I talked with a doctor who worked in a DC trauma unit about this, some years ago. She described how young teens would kill each other with aplomb. In one case, the killer was easily found because after killing the victim he went to McDonald's and was apprehended sitting there calmly eating some fries.

A teenager will kill you just as dead as an adult. I saw that hundreds of times when I was working in DC.
And a jacked up black racist will kill ya just as dead as a jacked up white racist will.
