You forgot POTUS. With blacks in the US making up less than 13% of the population, he wouldn't have been elected if we were such a racist country.
I respectfully disagree. He was elected because a large number of Americans are racist. He was not primarily elected for his expressed policies. He was elected in the main because he claims to be black and has a black wife. Our first affirmative action president got the office because of his race, ergo racism. The video of interviews in Harlem pre-election where McCain's policies were put forward as Obama’s and then the respondents asked if they favored those policies is only one of many proofs of that thesis.
