Gingrich political adviser (jumped ship for Perry)

Carney jumped ship to join forces with the RINO with the most money; Gingrich has none.

Who said vetoes and filling appointments were the same thing? I was answering your post as completely as I could.

You seem to have fallen and acquired a mental block as to the political climate during the Bush years. Since, over eight years, he had to go to Congress numerous times for critical defense and war funding, I'm sure he made many concessions and deals he never would have thought about if 9/11 had never happened. He probably made lots of mistakes because of his obsession with keeping America safe.

No doubt your perfect candidate would have done much better and made no provision for protecting the integrity of the office.

I finished reading that chapter I downloaded about "Perry's Eggheads." It was interesting but really just about Dave Carney.

At first, I thought that this might be a "loose lips" problem (as you suggested), but this material is all in the public domain...and it wouldn't work for Obama anyway. Obama only knows how to cheat. Honest, retail, press-the-flesh politics is out of his league.

That said, I think the book will be good for those who like politics behind the scenes.

And after all is said and done...Perry is gonna kick Obama's butt!

BTW, in case you don't know...you can download Kindle on your PC for free...and read this chapter for $.99.

Thx for all your great work for Perry and America!

I am a newbie so I don't count for much...but Carney's abandonment of Gingrich because Newtie was on permanent vacation is a stab in the back?

And GHW Bush lost (but not because he listened to Carney)?

And Carney is a hired gun with no convictions (Oh my)?

Read the book. Carney is not a politician...he's an analyst. And he's a pit bull.

Who better to attack Obama?

Download Kindle (for free) on your PC and read the chapter. Not saying that Carney will be proved right...but he is analytical and his opinions are based on the evidence (as best as the evidence can be measured with political dollars).

Carney makes the point...what business would take action, choose a path, adopt a strategy, select a product...without analyzing the market reaction and the efficacy of such action.

That is politics to date...no true and unbiased analyses.

I am a newbie so I don't count for much...

Recency to FR shouldn't be an automatic disqualifier, although it does carry a certain level of suspicion depending on your posts. That aside, there's plenty out there on Carney's dubious exploits as a politico- especially now that he's pushing Perry down conservative's throats. Carney is just another flesh pedalling POS like Rove, McKinnon and Davis. It's ALL about winning with rhetoric and B.S. spin while attempting to cover their candidate's tracks. They don't have a conservative conviction in their collective bodies. It's all about the power, fame and fortune. Nothing more than a high stakes poker game to add notches to their "insider" belts every four years at conservative's expense.

Attacking Obama by creating a facade of conservatism to shroud your candidate in leads to more of the same crap conservatives have come to expect from the GOP. Winning for the sake of winning while flying a false flag of conservatism to gain power is morally and ethically no better than the left engages in.

I may be a newbie but I am also a long time lurker...and I do respect your history of comments.

I don't know if Carney is a true conservative. I am, I believe. And I believe by your comment that you are.

That said, Carney is a weapon...like a sword. I don't care about his convictions. I only care about his power to defeat Obama.

Is Perry a true conservative? I don't know.

But I do know this. Obama must be defeated. He and all he stands for must be shoved out the door and be shamed into humiliation.

And then Obama must be investigated...this country must purge itself of this evil. We must dig deep and find and eliminate all that Obama stands for.

At least to the extent that such can be done at the ballot box and in Christian society.
