The bad news for Perry fans? The group behind this poll is Make Us Great Again, a super PAC formed to benefit — ta da — Rick Perry. The good news? Their numbers are in line with the latest Iowa polls from left-leaning PPP (which has it Perry 21, Romney 18, Bachmann 15) and right-leaning Magellan (Perry 24, Bachmann 22, Romney 19). Read the fine print and the news gets even better: The poll also shows Perry leading the way when respondents were asked to name the candidate they felt would be best at creating jobs and improving the country’s economy, and also the candidate with the best chance to beat President Obama.

Bachmann is still my first choice because of her Conservative views and standing firm in voting against raising the debt ceiling, although I believe her gaffes will hurt her if she doesn't stop them NOW.

Cain is my second choice.

If it becomes clear that neither have a chance, I'll support Perry.

I think its already clear that neither has a chance. This country is in too big a mess to put someone else in control who has no executive experience. Herman Cain does - MB - None! She is needed in the House of Reps. - not the WH.

Perry forced gardasil on Texas to payoff the drug maker for all the campaign cash he from took from them , what is he willing to force on

Good thing Perry can beat Romney even with Bachmann mucking things up. The sooner she and Romney are out, the better.

No Obama doesn’t and that’s one big reason this county is in such a mess. We can’t afford another 4 years of inexperience in executive matters.

Oh I get it now - you are a Perry hater. Should’ve known. I don’t know about some of the crap being thrown around about the man. Some is twisted and some is half truth. Still, with his warts and all, he’s a thousand times better than what we now have squatting in the WH.

He has some Esplaining to do? When does zero start Esplaining things? Oh right - the next of never. Right now, Perry is the best of the crop running. We’ll see if anyone else gets into the ring.

I'll grant that Bachmann doesn't have much executive experience, but she has the right ideas. Some of the others have experience, but would you want them using their experience to push for, let's say, RomneyCare for the nation?

Of course it's still early in the campaign, so we have plenty of time to vet all of our candidates before we have to choose.
