New York City has lots of high ground. It’s just a matter of getting there. New Orleans had little high ground and most of it was below sea level. No comparison.
we have lots of low ground too. The places they are evacuating are really low. I agree about New Orleans. Clearly no comparison. I don’t know how much high ground we have left on the other hand with a 10 foot storm surge.
