Wow! No kidding. This is ugly. They must be really scared of Rubio.
"All" two of them?
Sorry, aside from the fact that you’re wrong, your opinion doesn’t count because we have already had at least one president with a known foreign-born non-citizen parent, and thus the precedent has been established.
But even aside from Barry, I believe there was at least one other president who had a British-born parent, and of course a number of the Founders themselves were born of people not born in or citizens of what became the US. When they wrote the law, they were not considering parentage but whether you were here and adhered to the new government at the time that the US became a country. Thereafter, the important thing would be to have been born here and thus be a citizen by nature (nativity).
Now, which one's ugly?
The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives, or natural-born citizens, are those born in the country, of parents who are citizens.
As the society cannot exist and perpetuate itself otherwise than by the children of the citizens, those children naturally follow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights. The society is supposed to desire this, in consequence of what it owes to its own preservation; and it is presumed, as matter of course, that each citizen, on entering into society, reserves to his children the right of becoming members of it. The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent. We shall soon see whether, on their coming to the years of discretion, they may renounce their right, and what they owe to the society in which they were born. I say, that, in order to be of the country, it is necessary that a person be born of a father who is a citizen; for, if he is born there of a foreigner, it will be only the place of his birth, and not his country.

I tried to listen and watch this guy Ed twice. I decided there was something wrong with him. He is 2 bricks short of a load.
Is “fat boy” Ed Schultz flapping his gums again?
Why would anybody care?
Ed, I only hope you live long enough to see Marco occupy the White House.
Because he some day will!
Thanks Ed for pushing Americans of Latino origin right into the Republican party.
Thanks mandaladon for the topic.
You owe turds worldwide and apology.
Ed Schultz outraged all six of his viewers with his attack on Rubio.
Go away please. Your birther comments are getting pretty old and downright annoying. Matter of fact, why don’t you start your own birther thread where you can point out once a day that Rubio isn’t a natural born citizen. Stop tainting other threads that have nothing to do with the topic.
Why couldn’t this pathetic crudball just comment that thank God Nancy Reagan did not fall down and injure herself? Can you imagine if Joe Biden had caught her? He would be a hero and the Republican pundits would be giving him credit also. Only the progressives have that inherent streak of pure evil.
Yes. That was the law then. But it has not been the law in the US for many years because the modern definition includes persons born in the US regardless of parentage.

I thought it was racist to refer to an adult minority male as a boy.
ED SCHULTZ...YOU RACIST BASTARD!
Yeah, the way things are going, pretty soon even a Homeowner Association will be pretending to amend the Constitution.
Please feel free to take your whine directly to Jim.
No offense, but in the last several hours I’ve seen several posts copied to Jim Thompson, as if to “tell” on the original respondee.
What’s up with that?
I’m listening to Alex Jones right now online. I’m not a “truther”. So complain to Jim Thompson already.
He’s not a fan of Alex Jones.
So report me.
