I've seen your posts, asking that question.
Everyone is always looking at someone in office.
How can one answer a question formulated like that?
If you don't mind, who is your candidate?
Based on what?
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.
LOL!
“Rick Perrys Support Skyrockets Among Church Goers”
Church goers are either (sarcasm) socialist or stupid. There, I beat the trolls to it.
I understood your point. My point to you was that (if you truly are seeking to be persuaded), you should check his record yourself, keep an open mind, you may find that he has met that test. Moreover, I was trying to point out to you that if you held a strict standard like that on the greaest conservaive president in our lifetime, even he would fail. If it was 1980 right now, you’d be saying that, when Reagan was called to take a stand against abortion, he folded like a cheap suit and voted for the therapeutic abortion act. He had a chance to draw a line in the sand on taxes, yet folded again as Governor. Perry hasn’t done such things. As for “integrity”, when you find that machine that can look into the mind of a man and reveal the truth, let us know. There are doubts about all candidates and questionable actions as well. You say you’ve found one candidate. Great. I’m sure if you post that person’s name, I’ll be able to tear them apart with questions about their prior actions. All have skeletons because all are human, just like the Gipper. BTW, I have no intentions of doing that because I respect all of the republican candidates and wouldn’t dare impugn them in public. Why feed the dem trolls.
lmao!
These purity tests can be destructive.
On another note, I wish Perry had not signed these pledges. I'm getting sick of each group demanding a prospective candidate sign their particular pledge or they'll withhold support.
I'll have more respect for the candidate that tells these groups to go take a flying leap. Their word and record should be good enough. Pledges gets one in a trap and who knows what kind of convoluted legislation may appear.
Say that again! It’s so funny it’s priceless. Mebbe you could video yourself saying it and put it up on U-tube; it’d be an instant viral hit.
I can't imagine any intelligent, reasonable person agreeing with this statement.
That's impossible to determine until the suituation requiring such decisions occurs. Kind of like soldiers going into battle - not odd for the "real macho men" to lose it ans the apparent Harvey Milquetoast guys to perform some really heroic deeds.
If you want "proof" you're SOL for now. You might also ask, "Who do we have that we can be certain about in this area?" Let me know if you have a name that might meet the criteria.
IMHO, Palin has shown signs of the ability/willingness, and despite what we keep hearing about Perry, he has the potential.
Eh? Was that a knock on me, or a knock on someone else?
The great thing about the internet is you can actually see that crazy .005%. It's like a zoo of crazy ideas.
Anyone that walked outside their home and asked random citizens if they thought 'Rick Perry was Obama in whiteface' would be laughed at. Not once. Every single time. Imagine going to the mall or somewhere crowded, and just stopping people. How many hundreds would you have to go through before someone stopped and said, "Yeah, man, you're on to something. He's like Karl Marx in chaps."
The internet does provide those cranky handfuls a place to pretend that there's some groundswell to their ideas.
That’s a good point, it’s not so simple to answer the question. But really, it’s the most important question of all.
RINOs, who were at first thought to be conservative, are everywhere.
This tells us how widespread the problem is. And the problem, simply put, is corruption. Corruption of principle.
The antidote to corruption in a politician is a very rare quality. Meaning that the vast majority of politicians who sound conservative during a campaign are in fact, to varying degrees, untrustworthy. We know this from common sense, but so often we forget it. Me included. But objective, historical evidence can shake this problem.
I’m a Palin guy, because I’ve seen what she did, at great personal risk and when it seemed politically nonviable, to fight against crony capitalism and corruption in general. I’ve seen that she keeps her word. If Perry has this quality and it is in his record, I will be very pleased.
Keep in mind, words from the mouth of a politician during a campaign are highly unreliable in the absense of a record—a high score on the most important test.
