I have wipers on the cars and umbrellas. It is depressing but not the end of the world. What is your deal?

Longest drought in New Mexico history. Biggest forest fire in New Mexico history. Some of the most beautiful country on the planet completely destroyed. Water shed ruined for generations. The Rio Grande runs black if it rains a half an inch from the runoff.
We’ve had some rain in my area, which was not affected by the Los Conchas, but I watched it from my house for over a month. I personally fought two small lightning strike fires in one week with our local volunteer fire dept before we started getting a little rain.
Not fun at all at my age, but we’re OK here. My neighbors up north, around Los Alamos, Santa Clara Pueblo, and all over the Jemez, not so much. Cattle ranchers in Texas and southern New Mexico, not so much.
So yes, we pray for rain.
