>>>The weather in Southern California is worth a fortune to us. I don't mind paying more for other things. Mild Pacific breezes year round, we can grow anything, while the roses, flowers and Orange trees are full, in February no less!>>> Yes, I understand. Weather is like taste.....subjective. I grew up in California, my first 51 years were spent there. Since moving to Texas, I've also grown to appreaciate seasons. It's cold here on Thanksgiving and we got snow, record snow in Dallas and the metro plex for the past couple of years. It's BEAUTIFUL. Seasons, and cold and holidays. Southern California?....no thanks to 90 degrees while the turkey is in the oven on Thanksgiving or people surfing on Christmas day. That weather is depressing to me during the holidays....give me seasonal weather and Texas has Cali beat all day on that.....Here's our street just last Feb. 6 months ago:

Right...lol...I've been in snow, bone chilling cold, months on end, in the military, etc...Looks great on post cards, but....No thanks...

Besides, I we want snow, we just drive to it...But the best part? Is driving a short distance back home, to near perfect weather....

I got your snow, right up here in the local mountains..

Right where I like it! And can quickly leave it behind!
