'Alpha Dog' is at it again! Putin leads biker gang in his latest macho photo opportunity
The Daily Mail ^

Posted on 08/30/2011 8:00:55 AM PDT by AfricanChristian

Politicians will usually kick off an election campaign with a rousing speech, a meet-and-greet handshaking session or a nice photo opportunity kissing a baby. Unless, of course, they are Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who joined a biker gang and led them on a testosterone-fuelled motorcade. Over-revving the engine as he sat astride a three-wheeled Harley Davidson, the former KGB tough man looked both ludicrous and very much at home in the latest of macho stunts that have punctuated his political career.

Actually, “butch” is what guys called me when I’d whupped their asses and they later discovered that I ~wasn’t~ a man.

And that’s *not* hyperbole.

:)

A Fat Boy?

That’s what we consider the gateway to a dresser...like an “old man bike”...;D

[apologies to all dresser owners..just being a smart ass]

It actually runs and runs fast.

I think it has a V8 in it.

Wow..it looks like a ‘Wing and what appears to be a Victory.

Terrible shame.

Prayers for all involved.

:(

You gotta “ride different” in large groups.

I’ve seen people do really stupid things but thank God, they survived it.

Just promise me you’ll take a -good- motorcycle riding course and be very, VERY careful for the first couple thousand miles.

It’s a joy beyond expression but the initial learning curve is what you have to get by.

Good luck, God speed and be careful, SD!

He still could.

We’ve shipped to Ireland and Australia so he’s not too far away.

[according to my web stats, we *do* get a lot of hits from Russia...maybe he’s scoping us out]

LOL

You have my permission to slap them.

How wonderful for you. Glad to hear you're making up for the shortage we have of hyper-masculinized women riding around on tricycles and engaging in fisticuffs for amusement.

I seen a guy at DelMarVa bike week a couple of years ago.. right leg amputated up high near the hip.. Was riding a two wheeler. I thought at first, why doesn’t he get a trike, but then I thought about it.. If he can do it and doesn’t have to ride a trike, awesome. Maybe one day he’ll decide to get one, but for now, he’s doing quite well one legged. Nothing but respect for him.

.........sensitivity for those who simply cannot figure out the actual purpose of their reproductive organs!....

I don't like the tone of that remark, Chris. After all our Fearlessly Ineligible Leader was allegedly twice able to breed in captivity, this despite his rather unique (for a man) throwing style. However, bear in mind that was clearly before he started riding that bike. I'll grant you that it was somewhat after he was photographed holding hands with his uber-wealthy room mate from Pock-ee-STAHN.

But then again, exactly when he started wearing the cool Mom Jeans remains a classified mystery. In view of all these confusing facts, our town's Presidential Welcoming Committee has decided on a well guarded uni-sex double Porta-Potti for the Royal Couple. Film at 11.

No, it’s a man’s hybrid or comfort bike which are identical in design except for the wheel size, and I can’t tell via a little picture if it’s a 700c wheel or 26” wheel. This is my industry, and you linked to a child’s unisex MTB. The 20” MTB you listed is good for kids up to around 4’6”.

That’s the low end grandpa style “comfort bikes” they sell these days. They’re not that comfortable since you can never go anywhere other than city streets with those grandpa bikes.

Call it tough love, but as a lifelong, and second generation biker, you’ve got it all wrong. Anything that gets you out of the cage and into the wind is a good thing and worthy of respect, not disdain.

This attitude towards trikes is the same as the dumbass, yuppified nonsense that a Sportster is a girls bike. Usually spoken by a guy who wears a tie 5 days a week, but is now hard with 3 days of stubble. They’re usually known for mouthing a silent “who?” when I tell them that Sonny Barger rode a Sportster.

Grandpa bikes are great if you’re a grandpa. Last I looked, the sales of comfort bikes were overwhelmingly to riders North of 50.
