'Alpha Dog' is at it again! Putin leads biker gang in his latest macho photo opportunity
The Daily Mail ^

Posted on 08/30/2011 8:00:55 AM PDT by AfricanChristian

Politicians will usually kick off an election campaign with a rousing speech, a meet-and-greet handshaking session or a nice photo opportunity kissing a baby. Unless, of course, they are Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin, who joined a biker gang and led them on a testosterone-fuelled motorcade. Over-revving the engine as he sat astride a three-wheeled Harley Davidson, the former KGB tough man looked both ludicrous and very much at home in the latest of macho stunts that have punctuated his political career.

Wow, you must really like NIN. I’d take this opportunity to mention my other good qualities, but outside of a rebellious streak a mile long and a love for two wheels (ok 3) I got nothing.

Btw, no one told me, but Black #1 was written about my first wife. There’s no way that’s a coincidence.

You simply cannot imagine.

He insisted we all call him “Lone Wolf” and wore a “Wild Ones” Brando cap.

His girlfriend told me his real name and I took perverse pleasure in addressing him by that solely..and loudly.

Then, the local “club” warned him about the bottom rocker and he ignored the first two warnings.

Third time’s the charm and they “helped” him get rid of it.

I think they let him keep the “crossed pistons & skull” thingy.

The Sons Of Anarchy merchandise department started selling complete 3-piece patch sets on their fan site.

The forum got pretty exciting there for a while because the “real deals” were trying to warn the potential purchasers about what might happen, should they run into a MC in a bad mood.

I haven’t seen anybody insane enough to wear them so maybe they reconsidered.

“Observe Protocol” is like the first commandment.

It’s never boring.

:)

Last summer we met a bunch of Booze Fighters in a nearby watering hole.

They were shocked that I knew who they were.
[duh!]
I think I walked up to the leader and blurted out “OMG! You guys are legends!”

[that’ll get you an in, right away]...;D

The one guy told me that people always asked them if they were some kind of religious prohibition club.

He was hysterically funny and that was possibly the only time I really enjoyed being stuck in a bar for hours.

She was in love with herself?
She liked the dark?
On her milk white neck, the Devil’s mark?

[I’ve actually got “BLACK #1” on the bug shield on my Yukon in blood red letters...nobody gets it]

Reznor is a god.

I could tell you tales of a DJ who always played “Sanctified” and “Closer” back to back at a local dive for me.

Hubby loved it.

You can probably fill in the rest.

He possibly hadn’t earned them yet...along with his Indian Name.

She was in love with herself?

Yes.

She liked the dark?

Yes, and she found cemeteries..umm...arousing.

On her milk white neck, the Devil’s mark?

Not that I saw, but loving her was like...

Agreed on Reznor, even when he was just covering great songs. Joy Division was fantastic, but his version of Dead Souls was perfect.

“Yes, and she found cemeteries..umm...arousing.”

:)

I have everything he’s ever done.

[but seriously...what was up with the “Halo series”? Did he run out of album titles or what?]

The video for “Perfect Drug” was freaking incredible.

I think it’s time for my brain to just go to its “happy place” and avoid the rest of that mental imagery.

Lone Wolf. How the hell did I know? There is a loon that rides around town on his 883 with a Wide Glide front end (why?) with a patch on the back that says, “Lone Wolf No Club”. I’ve always taken it to mean, “Smells Bad No Friends”.

Love the Booze Fighters. Probably the only club I don’t feel on pins and needles around. They get drunk, get rowdy and go home.

Surely the Sons of Anarchy has a technical adviser somewhere that could have told them that the territory rocker was a no-no? Only folks I’ve seen get away with it are Christian Clubs (although they take flak) and Military/LEO clubs. Everyone else has to be approved.

VERY happy place... I forgot about that one pic...

(I wonder how ... small ... “that short guy” on the right REALLY feels about Alexander)

Did he rake the frame?
The front end of my Sportster was too squirrely.
I wound up with it raked and a pair of inverted forks.
Much better handling.
[then again, the day after it got here, it didn’t even look like a Sporty, anymore...hubby can’t let ~anything~ “stock”]

The LWNC patches get snickers, here.

The “Nomad” patches get wide berth and tons of respect.

The Booze Fighters seemed to be great guys.

They all got a kick out having me pose for pix with them.

The SOA writers have 1%ers advising them on “authenticity”, supposedly.

Not sure what went wonky with the patch set idea.

I’ve never seen the Christian clubs hassled although they may be and I’m not aware, the vets never get hassled and the LEO club here [Blue Knights] just have a one piece patch so no harm, no foul.

Loved the Perfect Drug. Never got the halo thing. Die hard fans who use the halo references just confuse me, because other than the Downward Spiral which is 8, I have no idea which is which. I haven’t heard everything but I have Broken, Pretty Hate Machine, White Teeth, Fragile, Downward Spiral and White Teeth.

He’s also got “Further Down The Spiral” and a couple other “Spiral” references going.

He’s apparently into thematic/stream of consciousness stuff.

Here’s this if you wanna try and make sense of it all:

I just listen and don’t question.
