FWIW, you can’t imagine how it feels when you help a guy who hasn’t ridden in *years* due to their injuries get ‘back in the wind’, again.
It gives them back their dignity and lust for life.
Priceless.
The vets who can get back on a bike love it. Many of the vets at the home in Pocatello aren't up to riding, but they get a big kick out of the local "rolling thunder" running 200 to 300 bikes by the door at the home. They line up on the sidewalk in front to watch the show. It's about time for another run. Wish I was home in Pokey to participate.
