I can't believe that posters here can't see how transparent these "insider" stories are.

Ok, it's propaganda 101. The powers that be know that the base zeitgeist is anti-establishment right now.

So they take two establishment politicians like Perry and Romney, annoint one "the evil insider choice" and in doing so soldify support for another candidate as the fake "outsider" (Perry) who they also wouldn't mind getting the nomination.
