It's like saying after a child has been run over, "My kid has a right to play in the street, it's our street", your kid is also DEAD

I'm sorry, that is not a good analogy. It doesn't pass the common sense test. No one advocates that kids have a "right" to play in the street. Please.

Oh, but they do and did. I have a friend, who said just that, wanted the cars to slow down, his kids played in the street. I told him the exact same thing, so much for getting the cars to slow down, if your kid is in the street anyway, and can die from fast or slow cars.

Oh yes, there are people like that. Good analogy. These are people who think they are no matter what their right is greater than anyone elses, at the espense of their child or other loved one.
