Allahpundit had a headline item about this picture last night, but lets toss this out onto the main page for Hot Air readers with a desire to write quirky captions. Ron Paul tried going on the attack against fellow Texan Rick Perry in last nights debate, but during a commercial break it seems that Perry gave a more personal response:
NROs Katrina Trinko has asked both campaigns for an explanation of the conversation, but in lieu of those explanations, Paul supporters are already assuming that Perry assaulted Paul, as Tommy Christopher reports at Mediaite:
Theres no freakout like a Ron Paul fan freakout. A meme has emerged on the PaulWeb that, during a commercial break in last nights Republican Presidential Debate, Gov. Rick Perryassaulted fellow Texan Ron Paul, suddenlygrab(bing) Pauls forearm while aggressively pointing his index finger towards the Congressmans face.
The only source for these allegations is an AP photo with a much blander caption, but thats just what youd expect from the anti-Paul media, right?

Hold still Ron, ‘got my bugger hook ready.
Ron Paul looks weak and Perry looks strong.
“I wasn’t just Al Gore’s cheerleader, I was his #1 cheerleader here in Texas!”
“C’mon, you’re over forty, so you know what comes next on your physical.”
Ron Paul doesn’t speak like a strong male or look like one.
Perry presents a better leadership image.
“Hey, you’re not Paul McCartney.”
When you talk to a crazy person you have to be assertive.
Paul should know that Perry’s actions were simply blowback for Paul’s interventionism in Republican politics.
Wow, so nice I said it twice! (how the hey did that happen?)
Stick this where the sun doesn’t shine!
Yes Ron. I’m the Bilderberg’s selected candidate.
Rick...put that finger away, you don’t know where it’s been.
you must me off your meds again Paul, how many fingers am I holding up?
“No, I’m NOT joking, Ron. Pull my finger!”
