What is specific and credible but unconfirmed?

I would believe it was credible if the Obama Administration was credible.

Why would they attack two cities that they’ve already partially psychologically defeated? Look for these attacks elsewhere. And the authorities will be surprised. Texas might want to really step up awareness, would be my guess.

Specific : Someone told them what was being plannned.
Credible : The source was reasonable and possibly provided previous information.
Unconfirmed : No one is in the crosshairs at the moment.

Bridges, tunnels aren’t the easiest targets in terms wof casualty numbers and total destruction. Takes a pretty potent bomb to collaps a tunnel or devastate a bridge.

I’d be looking at San Diego.

The Coronado Bay Bridge would be a tempting target to the Jihadis because of it’s numerous access points from the San Diego side and it’s strong military presence on the Coronado side.

Dates mean little to AQ. The upcoming 10th year date is not really significant to the group regardless of what people want to believe. IF it is this would indicate a big shift in the thinking of their “movement”.

Terror is the name of the game. They don’t need to destroy a bridge or tunnel. Panic and paralysis is what they want.

Complete defeat is more profound than another partial defeat. It’s the difference between two headlights out on one car and both working on another, vs one headlight out on each of two cars: in one case one car is useless at night, while in the other case both cars are still usable at night.

I’m sure our DOJ will set up a sharia court to properly “deal” with anyone responsible.

I suspect Obama has raised the alarm, wrapped himself in concern, and that he will bag him some shady suspects in the next few days. Thereby cementing his position as the concerned leader on the heals of his jobs speech.

Could also mean, “Be alarmed.... and don’t pay any attention to the power outage on the southwestern border....”

I guess the Muslims enjoy us dropping hundreds of thousands of pounds of high explosive ordinance on their cities. It’s almost as if they want us to kill them. That’s the message I’m getting anyways.

An Administration capable of selling guns to Mexican drug cartels and covering it up, from the Attorney General on down, is perfectly capable of fabricating a “credible but non-specific” terrorist threat to claim competence in national security matters. What better occasion than the anniversary of 9/11 to leak the story?
