This is great news! Was this poll taken after Pawlenty’s BIG endorsement of Romney? LOL

Yes, Perry’s lead actually increased from the last poll they took. Let’s see if further polls indicate the same find. If so then mediscaring old people might not be as profitable as Mitt and Michelle think.

Looks like Palin takes from all fairly evenly. This is also after the 1st debate and Perry being hammered on the Ponzi Scheme comments.

Rasmussen should give us an even better idea of how the debate shaped people's minds.

Perry 30, Romney 18, PALIN 15.
Not bad for someone who’s not running............

Best quote from the CNN poll: “Perry’s support comes mostly from Republicans who support the tea party movement.”

I’m think’n that will change.

Polls at this point are meaningless. Take a look at who was leading 4 years ago.

Follow your instincts not the latest poll numbers.

Looked through the poll. Perry’s currently leading in just about all the categories.

That’s with Palin in the poll as well.

Bah, Perry’s just a stalking horse for Myth Romney. Once he gets far enough ahead, he’s going to suddenly drop out of the race and throw all his support to Magic McUnderoos.

Excellent. One of the most telling numbers is “Who has the best chance of beating Obama” with Perry at 42%, which is the main concern of 75% of the survey.

I am amazed at how many Freepers jump on polls like these and celebrate when they turn around and say that the PPP poll in NY is not to be trusted. This is a CNN poll...how is it much different. The problem is that they polled registered voters, not likely voters. They had a sample of just a little over 900 people, but only 400 registered Republicans. This poll lines up with others, yes, but it doesn’t take likely voters into account and it only asks for a small portion of Republican votes.

Hate to break it to you folks, but ALL the polling is done by MSM/REP EST, and they ALL have an agenda of some sort.

I say this regardless of the numbers my candidate gets, good or bad.

To you folks that take any poll as Gospel, It completely boggles my mind. Many of you that fall for these polls are normally under most circumstances very intelligent people, so it is very puzzling.

Pollsters do not make stuff up? It`s not like it`s a crime to manipulate a poll, nobody goes to jail.

Speaking of ponzy schemes.

The establishment is clearly falling behind Romney.

Huckabee was just on with Laura Ingraham. He painted Perry as too "red meat" conservative, too extreme and attacked him on Social Security. Said Bachmann, not Perry, is competitive with Romney in FL. He said Romney may be the most electable but isn't ready to endorse.

Sounded to me like he did.
