NY is the more watched election, because the Republican stands a good chance to win in a traditionally Democratic district.

Polls closed at 8? 9? Why no votes counted yet?

I didn’t even know about the Nevada election. Polls just closed about a minute ago in NY, and the 1st round of data comes in at 9:15 EST. I voted in NY about 13 hours ago.

HotAir reports:
Polls close at 9 p.m. ET in New York and 10 p.m. ET in Nevada. PPP surveyed the latter race in just the past few days and predicts a double-digit win for Republican Mark Amodei. McCain barely won the district three years ago but thanks in part to a breezy 33/59 approval rating for Obama, this is now a walkover for the GOP. The suspense is in New York. In one corner: Republican Bob Turner, who leads by six points in not one but two recent polls. Thats encouraging, as is the fact that the White House is already pre-spinning an expected defeat, but that margin is by no means a guarantee of victory in a special election. In the other corner: A guy who received a kiss-of-death endorsement this morning from Anthony Weiner; who cant vote for himself today because he doesnt live in the district and has no plans to relocate if he wins; and whose secret weapon on the trail appears to be Bowser from Sha Na Na.

Thanks for posting. I hope it goes well in Weiner's old stomping grounds but I'll believe it's a GOP victory when I see the finale tally.
Can't trust polls in Dem strongholds.

Holder must be very busy fabricating voter fraud himself,
and getting the entire DOJ ready to protect anyone
caught in the endless DNC-voter fraud.

Does either state have an official website with the numbers?
I don't see anything on the AP sites, and I am wondering whether "Approved Propaganda" is filtering the results, not wanting to show anything if the Party's candidate (the 'media Party', aka the party favored by the Propaganda Ministry) is not faring well.
Of course, I suspect that the New York Secretary of State is also in that Party, and that could be where the holdup is.
Any bets as to how many votes will be "found" 3 days after the election?

Something sinister is afoot in this election. Had the Democrat won, the MSM would be trumpeting it right now and hailing Obama as the "comeback kid".

1. the sun will rise
2. when the Dems lose tonight in NY, they will accuse the GOP of cheating

With a candidate from the Socialist Workers Party on the ballot, I bet the union's loyalty was severely tested. Imagine all the “voter education” that had to go on so that SEIU, teachers, sanitation workers, and other assorted union types in the district had to be told to NOT vote for their candidate like they bad always done in the past but vote DemocRat this time.
