Bah!
As Washington twists itself into a pretzel with convoluted plots and plans to "create jobs", as usual they miss the forest for the trees. As we have always pointed out, the most obvious solution to many of our financial woes is a simple one: deal with illegal immigration. And with jobs it is no exception. For every illegal with a job there is an American without one.
Rep. Mo Brooks (R-AL) gets it. He has a "surefire" plan to create jobs in America. And unlike Obama, he doesn't need 40 minutes to explain it.

Exactly what I thought. Besides, you are looking at one side of it: how they benefit business. You are ignoring, or at least discounting (as the studies don't) the drain on social services, emergency rooms, schools, justice systems, insurance services, etc.

Read a piece on him in the paper this morning. He seemed to be all worked up about illegal aliens and the continued pitch for amnesty.
He also had plenty to say about the $450 billion “stimulus” that will be blown through within a few months and those who were hired would be out of a job as soon as the “stimulus” is spent.
I’m the first one to admit that I don’t like or trust Brooks, BUT I have to agree with most everything he said in the newspaper article.
Oh, this was the Decatur Daily, so you know the paper is heartbroken. Reporting Brooks conservative position on the questions asked must have been really devestating.
