On Pacifica Radio, Jesse Jackson Rips Obama's America - August 27, 2011 - REV. JESSE JACKSON: "Today we're spending a trillion dollars in Iraq on the wrong target. Overthrowing the government in Libya, well, a billion there, and billions more to restore it. Two billion a week in Afghanistan. And yet, we're laying off teachers, firemen, policemen.... And while the chaos abounds and destabilization abounds, now, of course, the same contractors who are rebuilding and getting the oil out of Iraq will be going next to Libya, which makes it kind of cynical. I hope that, early on, that this madness can be stopped and that we can, find a coherent foreign policy...."

I don’t think black Americans have noticed any of this yet. Certainly the press has downplayed it.

Louis Farrakhan has been attacking his former idol Obama severely for attacking Kaddafi, although I haven’t seen anything about it in the press recently. Yet back in 2010, Farrakhan was telling his congregation that Obama was the promised Messiah of the Nation of Islam.

If Jesse Jackson Jr. is also taking up the attack, is there any chance that it may finally get some traction? He isn’t likely to take up a cause like this unless there’s something in it for him, and some chance of success.

The fact is, Arabs have enslaved and mistreated blacks for many centuries, and they still feel superior to them, even to their fellow Muslims. Kaddafi was an exception, and it’s one reason why many of his fellow Muslims hated him.

Finally, Jesse Jr. may be doing something useful if he pursues this.

So, why wasn’t Jesse Jr. concerned when the al Qaeda mercenary rebel insurgents were killing off the Libyans trying to hold their country? Why did he wait until the al Qaeda murderers started whacking off North African blacks? Too late NOW, Buckwheat!
