According to the article, somebody in the WH staff is a "three year veteran beekeeper" and moved two of his hives to the garden.

Three year veteran? That's hardly getting started. We've kept bees for 35 years and helped my husband's grandfather before that. He started keeping bees in the early 1900s.

Somehow I can't see Obama or his bride suiting up with a veil and smoker and robbing the bees . . . .
