i>I find it funny that your most militantly anti-war types are often the most violent people around.

I have this vague recollection of reading about some research the Army War College (I think) had done with civilian volunteers. They were put in command positions in various strategic "war games". The professed pacifists were the first to go nuclear (literally) when their side in the game got in a bind.

Does he honestly believe that he is a foreign policy expert simply because he was in the military and fought in a war? I don’t think so.

They flew the planes into those buildings because they hated us. It’s as simple as that. They hate us for our support of Israel, and because we are a largely Judeo-Christian nation(for now). If he wants to point fingers in regards to all of the “bombing” that was going on, he can thank his idol Bill Clinton for that. I highly doubt that Bush confided in this douche that he was wrong about Iraq either.

Both Sinatra and Bennett were liberals as young men. Sinatra got over it in middle age. Bennett did not. Winston Churchill had a wise saying to the effect that a man who is not a liberal at age 20 has no heart but a man who is still a liberal at age 40 has no brain.

In 1979, Bennett almost died from a cocaine overdose.

In 1980, Sinatra donated 4 million dollars to Reagan's presidential campaign.

He may have left his heart in San Francisco, but I think he lost his mind well before that. You don’t get much dumber than not knowing why we fought the Germans...

We are in too many wars and sticking our noses into too many bee hives while playing politically correct internationalists - rulers of the world. We can not afford to rebuild the countries we attack and pay off allies like this. It is breaking us like it did the Soviet Union.

We need to use Reagan’s strategy on Lybia more often when we have Muslim idiots who need to be taken down a notch. We need to keep the Muslims from coming to the US until there is a major reformation of their religion. We tolerate too much from Muslims and have emboldened them. We have nothing to prove to them. We have to revive the idea of foreigners and their ways and interests versus Americans and our ways and interests.

He left his heart in San Fransisco.

He left his brain in the toilet.

I remember that. But I thought it was a phony cover for the fact that he can’t sing that song.

That was at Yankee Stadium during the 1998 World Series. Bennett sang “America the Beautiful” because he complained “The Star-Spangled Banner” is a war song.

Yep; just like the kids who are never spanked are the most horribly behaved, violent and aggressive children.

He left his brains in San Francisco. Too bad, because he is a brilliant singer. He can double bunk with Mat Damon in hell.
