To give CBS it’s due, they have closely followed and reported on this case. But what bothers me is that NO ONE reported what was blatantly illegal until their conscience got to them because a BP agent was murdered.
Did I read correctly today that Darrell Issa has connected over 200 bodies to the weapons sold in the F & F operation. Did I read that right?
Yes, and according to his lawyer, the decision to tape was made after they had had a meeting with the feds and he realized that they were going to hang him out to dry, blaming HIM for selling. I hope HOlder et al get NAILED

I am amazed that CBS is willing to do this. They have been one of Obama’s biggest butt boys. It looks like Issa has the goods.
I hope you’re right. CBS wouldn’t go this far if the stuff wasn’t going to hit the fan.
Another reason for 0bama to bow out and not run again.
How insulting to refer to a border control agent as collateral damage as if the FBI were actually trying to fight the cartels and the death of this agent isn’t important in the extreme.
On might wonder what we would do if we had the ATF or FBI come to our business and say “do this”.
From the tape, it sounds like he was originally assured these wouldn't be run across the border, etc.

I keep hoping it will bring another person like Melson forward with testimony and evidence. Someone perhaps who is not even being looked at or investigated yet, but sees it coming. Someone with emails or recordings.
What/when did Leahy know, and when did he adjourn his inquiry?
And how much did they pay the dealer for his cooperation?
They may be trying to hasten Bambi's withdrawal in favor of the Hilldebeast. Maybe they think she has a better chance to beat the GOP nominee in 2012.
Note William Newell's 12-page letter to the committee, admitting that he "misstated" some of his earlier testimony and, upon review, the committee might consider some of his testimony "misleading". And he wanted to "correct the record".
People following the investigation closely immediately observed that Newell had committed perjury in his testimony. The leaks evidently convinced Newell that the committee knew damn good and well he'd committed perjury...and they had him by the short hairs.
I suspect that Newell's next testimony -- no doubt in camera -- will be very revealing.
It would appear that Issa and Grassley are in control of the affair and are playing it masterfully.

That would be William Newell, the Phoenix BATF chief. Wonder what he did with the tapes...
Somebody will ask him. And his answer will either make him complicit in a cover-up or implicate a higher up...
The media will hit hard for as long as it takes Hilary to declare. If she doesn’t it’ll all be swept into the memory hole during the General.
CBS is staffed by committed Leftists. They understand that the Obama administration is going to take down the Dem party in 2012, and the only hope is if Obama is convinced to step down and let somebody else run.

About 2 years ago, Obamugabe and Holder made statements regarding the increase in violent crime along our Southern border. They blamed it on gun trafficking from the US. The Brady Bunch and lap-dog media started their usual cry about the 2nd Amendment.
At that time, Obamugabe ^had^ to know about firearms going to the drug cartels; POTUS was complicit.
