“Fred’s entry was just a strawman gambit to protect his buddy McCain’s arse.”

BINGO. But many-many people fell for it.

Palin may not have that intent, but by continuing this “maybe I will, maybe I won’t” tease, she is doing the same thing — helping Romney, by splitting the conservative vote and of course we’ll have the same result, as in2008: President Obama.

What vote.

You whine about “splitting the vote” when there is no vote being taken.

When the primaries come she’ll either be in or out. No splitting of the vote while “sitting on the fence”.

According to you Perry people, she has no chance whatsoever of winning, and has unrecoverable negatives. So how and the world do you figure she's splitting conservatives? And what makes you think they're exclusively supporting Perry?

If Palin is a bad as you all want to believe, then you should be encouraging her to run.

By the time there IS any vote, she will either be in or out, so how is the “splitting the conservative vote” by not announcing yet? These polls that are being taken right now don’t mean a thing, unless they convince people to close their minds before the time to vote ever comes up. And if people are going to do that, then people are stupid and this nation is probably not worth saving anyway.
