Maybe Perry doesn't look so horrible next to Christie. Perry's for the second amendment, pro life, LOVES state rights. The list goes on.
Conservatives keep screaming for a different candidate but they'd better be careful what they wish for.

Imagine having a man of Christie’s bullying forcefulness telling conservatives to SHUT UP about sharia, to SHUT UP about stopping the ground zero mosque, to GROW UP and stop opposing government subsidies for “green” energy, to GROW UP and stop demanding gun rights. The man is conservatives’ worst nightmare, yet they are lusting for him to become president.

Amen to all of that. Perry’s problem is that he’s pro-amnesty. Christie’s problem is that he’s pro-Muslim. That is UNACCEPTABLE in today’s political environment. Plus he’s enormously fat. He needs to let go of this idea of a candidacy. If he pursues it, then he needs to choose an excellent VP, since someone in his condition is a ticking time bomb.
