As long as Montgomery County is under the control of Dennis and Debbie Lieberman, a welfare fiefdom will be the result.
“”Places that even consider this are already close to extinction; it is a last resort, often pushed by the public employees, to save their jobs at the expense of a larger pool of taxpayers (county, state, federal level).””
Follow the money and the answer becomes obvious. You are so correct. Government at all levels has overspent and the only way to cover their ponzi scheme is to import more people. Govt could care less if the people cause a problem. Govt leaders only want their money problem fixed at whatever cost.
anymore = past 30 years!!!
NCR, a company almost synonymous with Dayton, moved, lock, stock, and barrel, to Georgia. Why?
We are losing our nation. Guess we only care about money. Funny thing is we are losing that too.
Dayton is a filthy, decaying dump. Illegals from Tijuana should feel right at home there.
You can bet your ass this city is trying to get population of any kind to get some category (or categories) of Federal Dollars.
lol Sure looks like shithead to me too.
Well, there are a lot of antique sales places around Dayton.
“Govt could care less if the people cause a problem. Govt leaders only want their money problem fixed at whatever cost.”
Government could care less if the new people are the cause of money problems, as long as they collect their government paycheck (while draining us for the costs of housing, feeding, clothing, and educating the newcomers who often are in no position to pay for anything).
The title is misleading - Dayton isn’t a city anymore.
As for the rest of it, someone needs to tell the author that Dayton already has a rather large if unacknowledged immigrant community.
I can’t wait until I’m able to complete our family’s move away from there.
Wait until Dayton gets its gazillion dollar library that they now think they need. WHY?????
Sounds like suicide to me.
Can’t kill something that’s already dead.
