FYI, Romney skipped the Florida Straw Poll, but his name was included because of the debated there yesterday.

Mitt skipped the Iowa straw poll as well as this one.

Interesting quote from his camp from the previous article.

“In June the Romney campaign said that while they respect the straw poll process, they would not take part in straw polls this cycle and instead “focus our energies and resources on winning primaries and caucuses.”

Passing on FL is really a big deal. Why let this one go by the wayside and focus on NH, which is a loser for predicting GOP nominees or even being a GOP state anymore. It is a purple state if there ever was one. Open primaries? Bleh.
