Is President Obama watching the Republican debates or not?
According to the White House, he isnt. The president didnt watch the debates, press secretary Jay Carney told reporters on Monday.
But on Sunday, Obama used the debates as a pivot point to criticize Rick Perry. Has anybody been watching the debates lately? he asked his supporters at a fundraiser. Youve got a governor whose state is on fire denying climate change.

So is he proposing that Texas just spontaneously burst into flames because of global warming? Or that Rick Perry could have prevented it if he didn't deny it?
Why, Valeri Jarret says he’s beyond most normal peoples intelligence.
The big fire was apparently started by wind, pushing a power line into a tree and the flaming limb dropped to the ground.
Does “climate change” cause wind? Would we be without wind if the climate change stopped? Then why are we building windmills where there is no wind?
Obama would have been well advised to watch that part!
The whole western United States has had a history of prairie fires and brush fires, long before anybody talked about global warming. 0bama is full of it on this issue, trying to score cheap political debate points for his base.

That is one of the most ridiculous cause/effect I’ve ever heard. Most of the recent fires in central Texas were started by electrical lines coming in contact with thirsty trees, Hussein.
He is mentally deranged!!
A raging wildfire near Austin, Texas, killed two people, officials said Tuesday, as firefighters fought to gain the upper hand against flames, wind and fatigue.
The deaths raise the overall toll from the outbreak of fires to four lives lost. A wildfire killed a woman and her 18-month-old child Sunday when flames engulfed their home near Gladewater, officials said.
“Texas is in a difficult situation right now, and our priorities are pretty simple. No. 1 is to protect life at all costs,” said Nim Kidd, chief of the state Division of Emergency Management.
Apparently. It would seem he's implying GW caused the temperature to rise enough to cause combustion. Gee, Texas must be depopulated by now. No one could survive. Oh, wait, where are all these Texas FReepers posting from?
The obvious response from the RNC should be to say “I understand the President is commenting about the debates yet he hasn’t watched them. Well ignorance hasn’t stopped Obama from saying and doing a lot of things as President. “

Not only that, but I read a few weeks ago that half the air fleet contracted by the feds has been grounded because the owners refused to comply with new FAA regulations (put into effect after having their fleet meet the annual inspection) because of the excessive cost. So there isn't sufficient air resources to fight these fires; all because of the Obama administration.
BÙmp.
The only thing he can see beyond his nose...is a teleprompter.
Pure desperation.
Wow! Thanks for the info. I had not heard that about the firefighting planes and new FAA regs.
It is an idiotic statement. 0bama is playing to the liberal base.
So, is 0bama trying to say, that if only congress had passed cap and trade, then these fires wouldn’t have happened????? What exactly does global warming have to do with the fires? The entire western United States has a long history of these fires, long before anyone heard of global warming, and long before the warming allegedly started to increase.
This man is so used to community organizing in the inner cities where the average person can’t spell IQ let alone possess one that he thinks that whenever he opens his mouth whatever comes out is the truth. God save the Republic.
Carney is such a dull tool...but I guess that’s the requirement for the job of Fuhrer Obama’s propaganda minister.
It was a thread a few weeks ago, or a post on a thread back then about the fires. Can’t recall which. I do recall the air company was based out of San Diego (IIRC), and had passed the annual inspection earlier this year.
