Maybe you can convince Lamar Smith to run instead, he does not mess around when it comes to illegal immigration. I actually agree with him on the agricultural guest worker program, provided it’s strictly enforced and e-verify passes. Eisenhower did something similar in the 1950s and it worked out well enough without the chaos we have today.
