Yep, she’s running. She’s still playing the media and the Republican elites,...

and Conservatives judging by the increasing number of them dismissing her running. What is the point to all this? Why is it important to keep everyone "off balance"? Reagan telegraphed to everyone in '79 he was running before he announced so the money and support waited patiently till he arrived. Wouldn't that be prudent for Palin instead of having everyone move on to Cain's campaign or whoever else who looks like they will knock out Obummer?

Oh piddlesquatch. She’s got a resonant political following now in the Tea Party, and ending up low in the RINO-packed GOP primaries wouldn’t change that. Even if she’s only thinking of something so mundane as future money, which she certainly isn’t.

Palin supporters didn’t have to “go after” Perry. He went after himself.,, several times. You can’t blame anybody but Perry for Perry. he is arrogant and presumptuous, the opposite of Herman Cain. Perry is a Texas pol. That is all he ever was and that is all he ever will be.
See? Perry coesn’t CONTROL Texas. TEXAS controls Perry. And he NEEDS that.

Part of me thinks she should say to heck with trying to help because of the reckless abuse with malice that has been directed solely at her family. The hatred is so deep. It is celebrated on some forums. They have their new GW Bush to direct their hate towards. You know, the leftists who attack her don’t believe in God. Who hates like this? To hurt the smallest little child of hers. I would think that she has been affected. Just because you are strong doesn’t mean there’s not any impact on your will and fortitude. Her family has taken a lot. Surely, she can put the 2 small children in care but can’t see her having another person take care of Piper and the little baby. The other 2 teens girls, seem to be immature, so you know there will be issues for the media. Conservatives always have their kids ridiculed as the other side basically doesn’t bother their opponents children. So, this has to weigh on her and Todd’s minds.

It doesn’t bother me that she is making money..I hope she uses some of it to go after some of those nutty authors who smear her. A lot of her supporters want for her to make a decision. It feels like things are just barely running with these candidates. I think when the excitement sets in, it will give us someone to be encouraged about. Cain is the most exciting because he is speaking to what the country needs. If he were elected, kept his word, to do the ideas he has shared so far, it would be awesome. After seeing Karl Rowe tearing him down, you can see Cain will have everything thrown his way. Of course, Cain needs to explain more of his polices.

Personally, I think Rubio would jazz excitement as Cain could. I don’t think Rubio has too much going against him unless it’s his age (not enough experience). If Palin gets in, I will support her though it will be a hard emotional fight. We need a person who is positive, upbeat, charming, rolls with the critics, along with a God fearing person and one who understands the concept of a smaller government, physical responsibility, less intrusions and the protection of our sacred freedoms.

I like Palin if she would go in there and open investigations and let the corruption be exposed. Fire thousands of government workers who are doing nothing and cut agencies. If Cain, would that even. I hope we don’t get another insider type mindset. Tired of the same ole methods/covering for each other/lobbyists/getting paybacks. What a grand idea to have a government working for us vs. a regime working against the people.

Thanks for your reply:

She was not opining tonight

Sorry, she opined on Christi and Cain and the primary. She's invited on to opine. She opined that she could beat Obama.

IMHO, it's past time for any potential candidate to critique - from the sideline - those actually in the fight for the nomination on the field. We need all the players on the field.

Get in, do the work, take the shots, compete for it and earn it.

It was a bad interview my wife is now in full depression over it

Tedious is right....the planets have aligned for her incredibly and she dawdles

I have never seen anything like this....we really need her....this field has collapsed to one amateur who is quick with one liners and nice speeches and two near liberal suits

Yet her weird fan club here are now in full defense mode if she doesn’t run still saying she walks on water

Man if she doesn’t run she owes all of us an apology

She loves the adoration and spotlight like her Bollywood daughter. As far as conservative family values she seems more interested in the media attention, and her career. Her self-centers SSS is starting to show!

“Does that prohibit me from being out there, out of a box, not allowing handlers to shape me and to force my message to be what donors or what contributors or what pundits want it to be?”

If SHE is the one in charge of her campaign then why would she hire *handlers* that she would allow to change her message? Why shouldn’t she STILL be *the maverick* even when she is campaigning. All of these politicians who let these people *mold* them into a *perfect candidate* are missing what it is the public really wants — TRUTH (in all aspects).

You should have people within the campaign working to SUPPORT your message - not change it. Sounds like she’s still having nightmares regarding McCain’s campaign *professionals*. I don’t know why she would assume that running her own campaign wouldn’t be different — it SHOULD be much different. Perhaps these politicians need to do away with some of these political operatives and charts, and polls, and *focus groups*. The American Public is clamoring for REAL people - not plastic talking heads whose message changes because they are afraid of tomorrow’s poll numbers.

“I am fast approaching the idea that nobody really wants the Presidency in face of what those running, or thinking of running, likely know that we can only speculate about.”

I don’t like what you’re saying because it sounds like it could be true. And it’s not just Obama. Not just this country. Look at what’s going on in Europe bailing out Greece and everything. Our situation was already pretty bad even before Obama. Entitlements are just such a big problem and here we see Obama talking about his stupid tax plan that will make everything even worse.

She’d do fine up to the point of winning the nomination, if she did. Then suddenly every RINO will be weighing upon her, including some not so subtle hints of how John McCain helped launch her national career. She needs an anti-Karl Rove to shield her from all the unwanted “assistance.”

No. She is running. Did you notice what she had on during the interview? A running suit.

Wonder did Governor Perry really mean it when Sarah came down to Texas to campaign for him, that we was NOT going to run for president?

How can anyone look at his debate appearances and not see that as evidence he was telling the truth about not planning to run? He got in to challenge the seemingly untouchable Romney but Perry's campaign was late to the game and he was not prepared.

It's been unclear to me, since the first debate, whether his head and heart was in it. His getting worse in the debates, not better. That isn't the usual pattern for someone who wants to win.

“You should have people within the campaign working to SUPPORT your message - not change it.”

Maybe because she thinks the people who know how to win campaigns will tell her she has to be more nuanced. You can’t say ponzi scheme if you want seniors. You can’t say you’re going to be too tough on illegals if you want the Hispanic vote. You can’t say everything that you want to say if you want to win and that’s a problem for her. There really isn’t such a thing as a populist conservative because you’ll have to say no to some people and they won’t like it.

We get to say whatever we want here. We have this freedom because we’re not even thinking of the presidency but it also means we won’t be able to change very much of the govt.

LOL. You forgot the sarcasm tag.

Palin didn’t say she was running, but she did happen to have her running suit on....

Pay attention not to what Sarah can say on Fox News but what she wears: a running suit

It is more important to realize what Sarah wore tonight instead of what she is at liberty to say: she was wearing a running suit
