I expect you to be capable of doing the work and having the proper attitude, Locke-Graves told Jackson.
Jackson was also ordered to maintain five years of good behavior, take an anger management class and stay away from Walmart for five years.
Jackson, who left the courtroom and then returned during her mothers sentencing, burst into tears when Duncan was given jail time.
Duncan broke down a few moments later as she stood before Locke-Graves, who was clearly disturbed by City Prosecutor Cynthia Adams description of the episode in which Duncan bragged to her daughter that she had just choked the cracker, a racial slur referring to Burchell.
I wonder who she voted for?
Judging by her picture there's at least a 98% chance she voted for Obama.
ugh
Hopefully she'll be banned from Wal-Mart, that'd hurt worse.
With all the flash mob activity lately, is this any surprise?
What is the common factor here? Does anyone have the guts to say?
Black people are going wild. Oh! Did I say that? Yes, I did.
“welcome to Wal Mahchakchhdhdhhfffff arghhhdhhdhd-—art”
I hesitate to bring this up, but if the greeter had been black and the attacker had been white, wouldn’t this have been classified as a hate crime?
She would then wind up at Targe’t.
Both women had prior criminal cases, according to Locke-Graves, who cited a 1993 domestic violence case against Duncan, and a 2008 theft case, and three contempt charges against Jackson. "
I guess if the chokee had been 41, the judge wouldn't have been appalled. But 71? That's appalling.
“he tried to turn the cart around”
He had no right to do that. That cart contained their property.
Asking to see receipts when people leave is highly offensive. They know this, but they choose to continue the policy anyway.
Greeters are greeters. Don’t get a 71-year old man to do a security guard’s job.
It doesn’t excuse what this piece of trash did. But he had NO RIGHT to interfere with their egress.
Have you thought about getting a job with the ACLU?

What?!
You know that at Walmart, they don’t necessarily have “security guards,” so the “greeter” is the one who checks receipts.
You say that the merchandise was “their property,” but if they had paid for all of it, why were they so averse to simply showing their receipt?
No. Those “women” are wild animals, and it’s quite possible they were attempting to steal something.
I truly do NOT understand the policy of checking receipts/items when customers are leaving Walmart/Sam’s stores. With all the electronics available now I assume when I am in a retail store I am on camera every minute. I worked in retail in a high shoplifting area 40 years ago and we had cameras then with security watching them from a back room with security in the parking lot to apprehend shoplifters on the way out. It just seems to be bad PR to have the greeters checking customers as they exit. It ticks off honest customers and puts the door people in danger from the dishonest ones. Just a crazy anti-theft policy.
"Welcome to Costco. I love you."
"Welcome to Costco. I love you." Funniest movie!
Boy, those liberals in OH mean business. Wonder what Boehner thinks of all this
