It is the Federal government's responsibility to secure the border. What is "non" border state politician Obama doing about it but turning his back on Rick Perry when he went to meet him on the tarmac in Austin with a letter -- after being denied a meeting?

There are many many articles that describe use of US military on the US side of the border; going WAY back. The several that I provided were describing the use of US military assets IN Mexico.

Mexico has already militarized its law enforcement (and as far as I know, welcomes donations of military equipment), and what Hillary! alluded to was an undertaking similar to US/Columbia joint military efforts.

At any rate, "border security" and "using US military to eradicate Mexican organized narco-crime, in Mexico" are different approaches to a common problem.
