The sign the best I remember, is just north of the road that jogs to the northwest then it turns southwest. The fence north of that road that runs northwest-southeast and ends at the Clear Fork of the Brazos River....well if you look hard, you’ll see a little white dot between the fence and the road, to the left of the main road....that my friends is the sign...the best that I recall.
The hunting camp is the buildings north of this by the river.
With Google Earth around there's no sense in allowing people to write news articles that are factually inaccurate with respect to what's on the ground. I say PUSH BACK even if you don't like the candidate.
In reality the use of 'gate" had to do with entrance or cut off the road that took you to the lease site.
I even wrote a federal regulation once that used the term "gate" to mean that and not a physical item.
The rest of their reportage is probably of equal quality ~ not worth diddly squat.
