“Mr. Sullivan added that neither the governor nor his family ever “owned, controlled or managed” the property, which he said was owned by a Texas charity called the Hendrick Home for Children. A Hendrick employee said on Sunday that she was not aware of the name and referred questions to her boss, who did not respond to a phone call seeking comment.”

Cain pointed out how he didn't feel Perry responded fast enough in covering the rock and that was “insensitive” but again, Perry didn't own the land.

Cain had no choice in saying what he said as a man of color. If he had not told the TRUTH, MANY would have denounced him and labeled him an “uncle tom!” Him making an honest assessment and calling a rival “insensitive” is much less damaging to him and his campaign than appearing as a race traitor or something similar!

I believe ANY person can reasonably say that a name like that would be insensitive and unimpressive. Just because conservatives aren’t fans of censorship or race baiting doesn’t mean we have to automatically excuse genuinely racist commentary!

Please stop freaking out about this...please relax a bit. Cain is human just like the rest of us and he has a right to speak what is on his mind. Isn’t that what attracted most of you to him in the first place?!

Chances are we all disagree with one or two things our wives, or children or friends have said or done! This doesn’t mean, however, we flat out throw them under the bus as a result. We need to just move past it!
