Michelle: Bank Sex-Discriminated Against Barack’s Grandmom; VP Gave Barack $480,908 Bank's Stock

First Lady Michelle Obama said at a fundraiser in Providence, Rhode Island, on Friday night that a bank where Barack Obama’s grandmother had worked discriminated against her for nearly two decades “because she was a woman.”

However, the Washington Post reported earlier this year that Obama’s grandmother, Madelyn Dunham, had been the first female vice president of the Bank of Hawaii.

Meanwhile, Barack and Michelle Obamas’ 2009 tax return, posted on the White House website, indicates the Obamas inherited almost $500,000 worth of the bank’s stock from the president’s grandmother.

Prior to she and her husband Stanley moving to Hawaii in 1960, she worked in Restaurants. She found a job at the bank in 1960 at age 38 and became a vice president ten years later at age 48.

Ten years for a former waitress entering the banking profession at the bottom to rise to a vice president is quite impressive.

She was also VP of the Mercer Island Bank from 1955, at age 33. Probably a fairly small bank, but still looks good on the CV and explains her career progress in Hawaii. But still impressive.

Obummer and his amazon beast beard are liars and yes, they are both morons. They bank on the hope that their equally stupid supporters won’t check anything and believe them. Most dishonest, despicable, trash to ever dwell in the WH. Usurpers, thugs, GET THEM OUT IN 2012!!!!

Can we assume that Obama’s half-sister inherited an equal amount from grandmother Dunham?

Was this the woman described by Barry as a “typical white person”?

Yeah...but if it let's the Obamas play the victim (at least indirectly) for the millionth time, they'll use her.

My great aunt was a bank vice-President, retiring about 1975. She started out as a teller, worked her way through college gaining a degree in business and finance, and worked her way up through the system. Never once said she was discriminated against, although she was completely competent so no one ever questioned her abilities.

Maybe because the funds had nothing to do with a bonus from the Bank, but rather might have been channeled to Madelyn for his upkeep and schoolfees and a little extra for her trouble. If the funds with which the shares were purchased came from the estate of his 'unknown' father, the remainder or any part of it would hardly find it's way to the daughter of Soetoro.
