I agree. The rock issue will hurt neither Perry nor Cain.
If the Perry supporters try to suggest that Cain is race-baiting, it will bite them in the butt BIG TIME.

Cain did not intentionally race-bait. But it was disturbing to hear him say the word outloud on network TV. That had a touch of arrogance, as in “You can’t say that word, Amanpour, but I can because I’m black”. He needs to tone down his tendency to jump the gun on unsubstantiated rumors. Good for him that he walked it back today.
