LOL! I took an extra two minutes. *sigh*
A president with zero political experience, and a VP who quit her statewide office two years into her first term?
Get real. Reality said all along that Palin was never as popular within the GOP, including GOP voters, as she is on FR. I’d feel bad for the true believers who bought her BS act, except for the poor treatment they gave me and some others for pointing out the reality surrounding Palin’s chances in 2012.
Based on what? Cain won't be the gop nominee. Right now looks like Romney will go up against Obama and lose, of course. If Perry can recover from all the gratuitous attacks thrown at him from the left and right, he could win in a tight race. Otherwise, its Willard the liberal who will be the Republican standard bearer for 2012. My vote will NOT go to Romney under any circumstance.
Well duh. That is what happens when you hero worship a politician. They let you down, which is their nature.
I feel so sad and I don’t know why.
Your callousness is palpable. What’s the point in your post? Do you think we would do otherwise? You have no idea what America has lost. Palin is a casualty of the debasement of media and culture, let those who yearn for a noble leader to take a breath. Is that too much to ask?
Please apply your energy by supporting a viable candidate. Please stop whining and step into the real world.
If she will not run alone, I sure hope she is smart enough to avoid that toxic hook up.
I'm likely going to shift my support to Cain, I think he has the best combination of attributes and experience for the job.
Sure makes the race card moot.
That’s too bad, I was hoping Palin would run. I still intend to cast my vote for her.
She doesn’t owe you anything. Go get a job and go live your life. *Sheesh!*
Just read it on Fox. I am saddened at this news. Now what? :(
I’ve said it from the beginning....she wants a job with the media...not in politics.
Now, opinions of others be damned, I will vote for the GOP nominee. I will probably vote for Perry in the MI primary, as I believe he's the best all-around choice. Not perfect, but best of what we have. Love the Hermanator, but the last person elected President with NO elective office experience was Eisenhower, and he only, y'know, won WWII (hyperbole, but that was the feeling). Perry/Cain I would be enthusiastic for.
Mitt...bleh. But yes, I would vote for him in 2012 if he's the choice. Romney/Perry or Romney/Cain, better.
For all supporters of others, I implore you to do the same. Obama MUST be defeated. Hold your nose, tighten your sphincter, and pull the lever for Mitt in 2012 if necessary, and then work like hell to get a conservative House and Senate in place alongside to keep him on the straight (heh) and narrow.
I don’t find her announcement mode strange at all.
In fact, I find it a lot more appropriate than Christie calling a two-hour presser to go over every little detail of his decision.
Sarah is not going away, that’s for sure. She will be very effective and instrumental in seeing that Obama is replaced.
