How can she quit something she’s never done? She didn’t “quit” running for president because she never got in the race. She decided she could be more effective helping other conservatives. Good for her. She draws crowds and gets the crowd energized. Her enthusiasm & love of country is infectious. She’ll definitely help get conservatives elected. People are disappointed but she’s not backing down. It’s not it her nature. I still think you should cool it a bit. There will be plenty of opportunities to be not nice. Most Palin people are going into the Cain camp. Now you can start in on them.

BS. She revealed a great deal about herself for public consumption, and that is the record all the rest of us had to work with, and it is pretty good. Do you know things about her that are not in the public record? I for one was impressed with her decision to turn down doing a second season of her Alaska show. It’s just not human nature to turn down 10 Million for shallow reasons. I don’t know what you could know about her that could undo all the good things I do know about her.
As for Perry, you give us Palinistas too much credit. We didn’t destroy him. He just opened his mouth, and the rest came naturally. Truth is like that. Doesn’t matter who it comes from. It always gets it’s day in court.

Everyone should have known thus would be the outcome. I’m disappointed but I don’t think she could ever win now.
The problem we have here is that by waiting this long Palin has left her supporters holding the bag.
I’ve no doubt that she made her decision months ago or longer. Many believed her character was such that she wouldn’t lead her supporters on if she wasn’t planning on running.
