Romney will likely skate from here .Palin was his only real obstacle..none of the rest are up to it doesn’t look like..or the odds are way high (Cain)

Ironically for these folks, and trageically for all of us, Romney may have benefited the most from Palin's dawdling.

Some people here simply don't get it and never will. It's simply was not about Palin herself except to them and all their fawning.

For reasonable folks who supported her it was about what she represented through her speeches and what we hoped she could accomplish if she ran for president in these bitter near hopeless times.

And we waited.

In vain.

And she is diminished for folks like us..markedly. ...way markedly. She coulda been a contender.

The cult here can just continue to self congratulate and work it out all they want but it's over...really never was which is the sad part.
