It drove off decent folks including some Palin supporters.
For 3 years the shrill cry of PDS syndrome and attacking in a pack anyone who disagreed with Palin over McCain, girl power, populist rhetoric or whatever minor utterance she said and that person was hounded and had mods directed to them and a some decent posters did get zotted because they had issues with Palin.
You guys acted like she was second coming...she was never that.

Crazy...worst moments I’ve seen here in 11 years...which is saying something....believe me..the amnesty fights here...with some of the same Wideawakes critters coincidentally were pretty tough.

Pleased to be pinged to the thread which I ignored for a while. I may catch up on it or not. I will lay my marker though - that I agree 100% with the content AND the tone of what you posted RE: the Palinistas.
It’s actually discouraging, as much as anything, to see purported conservatives being as empty headed and emotion driven as we say the lefties are.
Running a close second to that is disappointment that debate and discussion seems to be of diminished value here.

Some Freepers came on to this thread, and every other Palin thread, to do nothing but behave like children. If they really cared about their candidate, they would shut their big fat mouths about Palin and support their own candidate. Conservatives do not spend their time gloating over other conservatives disappointments. I'm sure you'd feel the same way if your candidate of choice choose to drop out and Freepers gloated about that.
People can only get themselves zotted through their own behavior. If you have a problem with somebody being zotted I would suggest you take it up with the admin.
I think you should look at yourself and your own behavior before you point your finger at others.
With that, I am done. I'm disappointed that some people I used to admire have behaved the way they have, but life is full of disappointments and I will get over it.
