The problem lies more with those who saw her as some kind of political savior than with Palin herself. She kept herself in the public eye as long as possible and made a lot of money doing so. It is time for some people to wake up and join the real world. Her niche is in the media arena, as has been apparent for some time.

Good post. It may just turn out she weilds more influence right where she is. The worst that could have happened was she ran and lost, imo.

If all she wanted was to make money (and be in the limelight) why didn’t she take the $10million offered by TLC to do another season of SP’s Alaska? When you can answer that then you can say she’s all about money. She helped get a lot of conservatives elected in the midterms. Even you should be able to appreciate that.
