Cain has come out on Fox, Beck, Right Scoop, The View AND Hannity and has clarified that he does not think Perry is a racist.
Cain said all of 10 words expressing his opinion over this word/action/whatever. You all have written HUNDREDS of words over 3 days complaining about it.
I believed you’ve milked it to the point that no one cares anymore.
“All I said was the mere fact that that word was there was ‘insensitive.’” Cain responded. “That’s not playing the race card. I am not attacking Gov. Perry. Some people in the media want to attack him. I’m done with that issue!”

He jumped on Perry and pulled the race card to advance himself, then when even Perry’s own critics defended him, Cain tried to back paddle and clean it up.
