I’d rather see Cain team up with Gingrich. I think Newt would bring more to the ticket than Romney or Perry. If Cain teams up with either of them then he winds up with a huge ick factor.

I’m hearing a great deal of buzz about that duo. Cain & Gingrich have mutual respect for each other. They’d be a great team.

For me there’s huge ick factor with Newt. Catting around and sitting on the couch with Nancy Pelosi to save the planet from a hoax? Yeah, no thanks.

Newt brings in baggage without the money of either his fellow establishment types. His best role is cranking out ideas or writing speeches for others. He’s very good at that.

Yeah.... I don’t see much chance of Cain picking Palin. Cain really needs someone who knows how to get things done in Washington, and that is Newt Gingrich.

...and if you think about it, people always say that being a governor is the best executive experience for running the country. While that is partially true, knowing how to get things done in Washington is also extremely valuable. I’m guessing congressmen who want to try to pass an important bill are not calling Rick Perry or Mitt Romney for advice.... they are calling Newt Gingrich.

“Cain team up with Gingrich”

At this point, that doeesn’t sound half bad.
And as for the perry contingent that keeps insisting that Cain supports romney, do a search. You will find a whole lot of criticism of romney from Cain. So they lie. Trying to smear Cain isn’t gonna help rick perry. It just isn’t. Perry is his own worst enemy.

Jul 19, 2011 – (CNN) — Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain claimed Monday Mitt Romney cannot beat President Obama in the 2012 election
