If Herman Cain is clever, which he is, he will make LAW AND ORDER (long before Perry and Romney do) a front and center issue of his 2012 Presidential Campaign. He can mention funny, pithy barnburners like Wallace said which had Middle America roaring in approval such as: "Any anarchist who lays down in front of my car, that will be the last car they're gonna lay down under".

That kind of demagoguery (from both parties) is very popular. Oh, and it turned the USA into the world's #1 police state. We have more people in prison than China. Think about that. And you want to ramp it up? Well, I'm sure you'll get your way.

Who do you want to let out of the prisons? Rapist, serial killers, robbers? The reason those people are in prison is BECAUSE a JURY of the peers put them there...

Do you have a better way of administering justice?

China is a police state - so is Russia and North Korea and most Arab countries. The US is NOT - might be if the sicko liberals get their way... but it's not yet.

China also sells the organs of their prisoners... how do you feel about that?

You've just pointed out the number one reason we need to do away with our system of juries made up of the accused peers.

Professional juries, made up of paid government jurists would find many of these murderers, rapists, thieves, and assorted scofflaws not eligible for prison, and would allow those murderers, rapists, and thieves to continue to roam free among us.

We would then be able to lay claim to one of the smallest prison systems in the world.
