Sheriffs call for independent investigation in 'Fast and Furious' case(Gunwalker)

PHOENIX - For the first time since Congressional hearings into the ATF's controversial Fast and Furious case started, Arizona sheriffs on both sides of the political aisle are joining forces.

Six sheriffs from Pinal, Cochise, LaPaz, Mohave, Greenlee, and Yavapai counties spoke outside of the Arizona capitol building Friday, saying they feel betrayed by the federal government and the way the Fast and Furious case was handled.

"If there is anything the President should apologize for, it's this," said Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, a Republican. He also said Attorney General Eric Holder should resign or be fired.

Although Republican Congressional leaders have been leading the investigations into the Department of Justice, Babeu said the dissatisfaction with the Fast and Furious case is not a partisan issue.

"This is not a Democrat or Republican issue. This is a public safety issue," he said.

"It's embarrassing to this country and me," said LaPaz County Sheriff Don Lowery. "I've spent fifty years in uniform, and it's embarrassing for me to stand before you and apologize for people that we elect."

Of course, ABC will run a national story on this, won't they? On totally unrelated news, will Lori Jane Gliha have a job is six months?

G3A

Considering the level of stupidity on display by this administration, Holder might want to consider an insanity defense.

The only investigation that the media will do with this information is to investigate the SHERIFFS who dared to question the messiah and his administration.

Here is a chance for some super effective old-style freeping.

POTUS is going on a bus tour. Everywhere he goes, folks should hold up signs showing an AK-47, with messages about "200 murdered by ATF guns, where is the media?"

That's just clip art I grabbed, obveiously, delete the Russian.

To be even more effective, cut out the cardboard AK-47 alone, and hoist it high up on a stick, so its profile will really stand out against the sky. Just make it properly "cartoonish" so the Secret Service can't pretend they thought it was a real gun. Sort of like the cartoon AK in the following image.

We should dog POTUS with Fast and Furious at every stop, shaming the MSM into finally reporting the scandal that is a thousand times worse than Watergate.

Hannity did a great job on this last night when he had Issa on as his guest. Holder’s lies were exposed in detail. Look for We The People to demand this scandal be exposed and indictments to follow. The Eunuchs in Congress would be well advised to expose this now. To do less, will be felt by candidates at the ballot box. We The People are angry and fed up with corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle. Spineless, gutless political Elites aren’t wanted by anyone I talk to.

Americans and Mexicans have died because of the corrupt liars in this Administration. This Regime and their DOJ is not above the law unless We The People and the Congressional Republicans allow it.

We need to dog the POTUS and shame the MSM everywhere he goes in public.

Make sure any cutout AKs are sufficiently "cartoonish" to avoid giving the SS a reason to arrest anybody on trumped-up charges. Sort of like the AK in this cartoon.

The sad truth of the matter is that neither Boehner or McConnell have the backbone, integrity OR the resolve to do ANYTHING that would be necessary to slow this Regime down from their stated goal of destroying our country. They are derelict in their sworn duty to uphold the Constitution of The United States.

My question is this: Just how much more of this garbage are We The People willing to tolerate from this government?

What we as a people do {or don’t do} next will stand for history and tyrants to see. Is there anything outrageous enough anymore to shame our American identity?

When dealing with ATF, it is common knowledge that one is guilty until proven innocent. We must use that same standard to examine all our alphabet soup agencies, czars, and power mad politicians.

Would there not be a variety of state laws that have been broken in Arizona as a part of the gunrunning? Why is there not a state investigation?

"...Boehner or McConnell..."

We trust these men at our own peril. It is time we recognized our entrenched Republican establishment for what it is - More problem than solution.

This bastardized federal government was built from the ground up. A piece at a time. It will probably have to be repaired the same way.

Accessory to Murder might be worth looking into.

Why isn’t this being done?

This investigation should be one of the highest priorities of the House and Senate.

But anyone expectingmuch fro Rep[ublicans on this will be greatly dissappointed.

If the shoe were on the other foot Democrats would be pushing this to the limit and beyond.

We really do need a party for Americans who are conservative and we need to unload some dead wood in the republican party. Those who would rather talk crap on the floor and go have drinks after the meeting need to be fired.

Investigate, why? Holder said he did not do anything wrong...he did not even admit to an error in management. That was underscored by der leader who said he has total confidence in Holder while also noting he had no knowledge of this matter. OK, that proves there is nothing here...move on to something else...oh, what was it Cain did during the civil rights movement and why did he not join the military during the Vietnam War?
