The phone was stolen Monday when the suspect bumped into a 31-year-old woman walking on Liberty Avenue in South Richmond Hill. Police say the suspect reached into her front pocket and pulled out the black iPhone 4 phone.
The victim later remembered she downloaded a security application called iGotYa, which takes a photo whenever someone enters the wrong passcode on the locked screen.

I have “Find My iphone” so if it’s lost or stolen, my brother can track where it is.
Already had to use it once when I left it in a shopping cart in the parking lot.
He didn’t “steal” the phone, he was just “redistributing” it. She’s already owned two phones and needs to pay her fair share and not be greedy.
Best agument for prohibiting some phone companies from crippling their phones and preventing useful apps.
Good thing they have his photo. Otherwise the police would have to describe the thief by his height and approximate age, but without mentioning his race.
Exactly why I use a Android based phone and tablet.
